How browser storage works
Cookies are small values a website asks a browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features, but they are not sent automatically with every request. PVspark uses a small amount of essential storage and, only with your permission, analytics cookies.
Essential website storage
Analytics preference
pvspark.analytics.consent.v1 is a local-storage preference recording “granted” or “denied”. It prevents the website from repeatedly asking and ensures optional analytics stays off unless you accept. It remains until you change the preference or clear site data.
First-touch attribution
pvspark.marketing.attribution.v1 is session storage containing the landing path, a bounded referring origin and path, and any standard campaign parameters. It supports accurate enquiry attribution and normally lasts for the browser session.
Form and demonstration continuity
PVspark uses short-lived session-storage entries beginning pvspark.marketing.reference. to show the confirmation reference after a successful form request, and pvspark.marketing.demo-prefill.v1 when you choose to carry a demonstration topic to the request page. These entries normally last for the browser session and are not used for advertising.
Sign-in and the authenticated application also require security, authentication, and workflow storage. Those values keep a session working, protect sign-in, remember temporary drafts, or preserve requested account state. Their duration depends on the session, security configuration, feature, and identity provider. Disabling essential storage can prevent sign-in or product features from working.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you select “Accept” or enable optional analytics in the preference panel. It may set first-party cookies including _ga and a property-specific _ga_<container-id>. Google documents a default expiry of two years for these cookies, subject to browser limits and renewal on activity. PVspark currently configures GA4 event and user retention for two months.
PVspark limits analytics to aggregate page, navigation, article, CTA, and form-funnel events. It excludes form answers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, invitation tokens, lead references, free-text answers, and sensitive URL parameters. Advertising signals, advertising pixels, and session replay are disabled on this website.
Your choice
Accept and reject controls receive equal prominence. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through “Manage analytics” in the footer. Rejecting optional analytics does not block forms, navigation, or sign-in. Your browser can also delete or block site data; doing so may reset your choice or affect essential features.
