PVspark synthetic terrain example - 10 September 2026 This is an authored software-review fixture, not a customer site, survey, engineering report or construction recommendation. Source: scripts/qa-terrain-release-journey.cjs in the PVspark repository. Recorded QA: docs/qa/terrain-release-journey-2026-09-10.md. Product release containing the tested workflow: 15380e167b49dd5b970254b5e1c0792f33151469. The companion CSV reproduces the fixture's four terrain-control rows. Columns: x_m, y_m, elevation_m. Coordinate basis: Project local XY metres. Vertical datum: QA local benchmark. All four authored elevations are zero. No measured accuracy is claimed. These controls are not independent checkpoints. Importing the CSV supplies controls only. It does not create or import a complete project, boundary, tables, grading option or calculation results. To understand the rest of the recorded fixture, its setup was: - A 20 m by 20 m boundary with zero capture inset. - Inverse-distance-weighted terrain interpolation. - Fixed tables: two 1 m by 1 m modules per table, 425 W per module. - Module gap 0.02 m; portrait orientation; tilt 0 degrees; azimuth 180 degrees. - Lower edge clearance 1 m; row pitch 6 m; table gap 5 m; boundary setback 1 m. - The authored layout produced nine tables. - Proposed grading plane: elevation +1 m, zero X and Y slope. - The recorded height proposal moved the nine eligible tables by +0.5 m. These deliberately simplified dimensions are QA inputs, not a real equipment specification or recommended mounting design. Product settings and data must be reviewed before using any result on a real project. Saving a named grading option preserves its definition only. It does not change original terrain or table geometry. Eligible height adoption is a separate reviewed action with undo. Recompute results against current inputs. The sunlight example used a 30-degree sun elevation and direct normal irradiance of 800 W/m2. Mean incident direct irradiance remained 400 W/m2 before and after the uniform height change. This is a single configured instant, not electrical production or annual energy, and excludes diffuse, reflected and electrical/module effects. Interpolation, sampled clearance and grading-plane quantities do not establish survey accuracy, structural or geotechnical adequacy, drainage, or civil approval. This small fixture is not a benchmark of large commercial project capacity. DSM, general 3D model import and customer-visible tracker engineering are not demonstrated by it. This project-owned synthetic input may be reused to explore the documented workflow. Keep its synthetic provenance and limitations with any shared result. The accompanying resource page is a printable authored guide, not a product exported report or verified customer outcome.
